Chocolate Chip Icebox Pie perfect for a summer day.

This delicious chocolate pie recipe comes from Doris Palmer who received it from her roommate’s (Connie Michael) mother back when she was in business school in the 40s.

To Make:

Roll crackers into crumbs and mix with melted butter.

Line the pie tin with all except 1/2 cups.

Place marshmallows in double boiler and stir until melted and set it aside to cool.

Add 1 cup cream whipped and a 5 cent Hershey bar broken into bits into the pan and mix together.

Pour filling into shell. Put remaining crumbs on top to which a few nuts have been added.

Let stand in Frigidaire several hours before using.
